So it has come to my attention that some people were still wondering what was the answer to my question a while back regarding the Giants and the Packers. Well, at the time it was simple...they had both come off victories on the Detroit Lionesses.....but now...it has more meaning...they just happen to be the only two teams left standing in the NFC! If we were still in Fort Collins I can bet you that we would be having a party with the Scaffidi's this Sunday...although I am not sure John would enjoy the decorations ;-)!

I also ran across this article today which came to me as part of a Giants news update....What the heck? Rhonda, are all cheese-heads this crazy? And where is Farzad? I saw this morning that Duluth wasn't going to get above 0 degrees....he must be burning all of his global warming pamphlets to keep alive up there!
Upset that his 7-year-old son wouldn't wear a Packers jersey during
the team's playoff victory last Saturday, a Portage, Wis., man
restrained the boy for an hour with tape and taped the jersey onto
him.

Mathew Kowald was cited for disorderly conduct in connection with the
incident with his son at their home in Pardeeville, Lt. Wayne Smith
of the Columbia County Sheriff's Department said. Pardeeville is
about 30 miles north of Madison.

The 36-year-old Kowald was arrested Monday after his wife told
authorities about the incident. Kowald was taken to the county jail
and held until yesterday, when he pleaded no contest, paid a fine of
$186 and was released.
I want to know....how do they come up with a fine of $186....and is that really a fitting punishment for something like that? I think they should strap this guy to a chair and make him watch the Dec 23 game against the Bears at least 5 times.
