Friggin' G-Men

Ok, so before I get into the family update I have to get something off my chest. I am still not completely over the New York Giants' meltdown last week against the Titans. I know that this probably makes me an idiot in most people's minds...but hey, it was one of those "special" moments. Just like the loss to SF in the playoffs a few years back...it never quite leaves you.

While there are a lot of differing opinions on how the season is going to turn out...I am still an optimist. They do need some talent back from the IR list, but in general they have the players they need right now to make it to the playoffs...if they play! Parting thoughts >>Shockey's statements this week are sure to provoke the big tuna >>
Mathias Kiwanuka, I feel for you...you would have pulled the flag had you dumped him (and he had thrown the ball)...just like 4 weeks ago!

Breathe...ok...the family. So things have been going well lately. Kade is super excited about Christmas this year. He almost lost his mind waiting for me to put the "red lights" on the tree. And now that the christmas train is around the tree we can't keep him off the dang thing. See, he tends to like to pull them off the track and then whine about it. Go figure...life in a 3 year olds head. Payton is chillin'. She also likes the train...but is more as a spectator sport rather than the full blown tackle football approach Kade prefers. Oh well, we will see how long that stays up before Jen pulls the plug ;-) Kade has been pretty sick the last few days. Thankfully he is not throwing up (see CherkyB, I married a non-thower-upper) he has just got snot everywhere. Too bad too because we just got the first real snow of the year and he wants to go play. Payton is waiving now, it is really cute. Still not signs of crawling or interest in being on her belly at all... Other than that its life as usual at the cavagnaro en casa. Oops...did that slip out ;-)
